A garden going out a book...

I wanted to make a rococo book.... Manage to transform one of my dear books into an object, full of details... A book which would have its place on a shelf surrounded with old books? Either on the contrary which would contrast on a modern white piece of furniture?? Yo will decide !:))

For lovers of reading and beautiful objects.

Each sculpture is a unique piece, made ​​from a spanish book.
I use old books, that books sellers friends give to me: I use book that nobody is going to read yet... Maybe because some sheets are broken, maybe because this book is the part II and the part I is lost, maybe because the content is totally past...
So I try to give them another life with my scissors !!

Je récupère de vieux livres, des livres en "fin de vie utile" comme on dit: un Tome II sans Tome I, des livres abîmés, des livres dont le contenu n'a plus d'intérêt aujourd'hui... Puis je me mets au travail.... J'en suis convaincue: les livres vivent.
